Sindahir was packing up her belongings in her room. After she finished, Sindahir picked up her Lothlorien cloak, fastned the brooch at her neck, slung her bow and quiver of arrows onto her back, and got ready to leave the Shire. Sindahir had decided to take the same path as the Fellowship until she got to the Misty Mountians. Then she would take the Gap of Rohan and pick up the trail that Gandalf and Pippin used.
Sindahir pulled out a map and drew out her course in ink. She then folded up the map, put it in her backpack, and from under her bed Sindahir pulled out three large, white boxes. She shook all three of them and, after hearing two rattles, put them as well in her pack.
When Sindahir got back to the entrance of the inn, she noticed two men talking to each other. One was a Rohirrim, Eothed, and the other was an Elf, Taurnil. 'Maybe they can help,' Sindahir thought. 'Anyways it's worth a try.'
Sindahir took a deep breath, pushed her silver hair out of her face, and walked over to where they were sitting. "Excuse me," said Sindahir, in her strong and smooth voice, to the Elf. "I'm going to Minas Tirith. I would be honored if you and your companion would join me."
