Nahai felt herself nod to Morwyn, but, realizing what she was doing, quickly shook it in disagreement.

"Perhaps you two should retire," she replied softly, "I don't want any harm to befall you two on my account." Morwyn looked unsure.

"Wouldn't it be best for you to leave?" she asked the Beorning. Once again, Nahai shook her head.

"I have never met any of these people in my life," Nahai whispered back, "and yet this elf knows my name, and connects me to her father's murder. I want to know what is going on. Maybe I can help her. Maybe not. I just want to know." Morwyn looked skeptical, but Nahai seemed to know what she was doing.

"I'll be fine," she assured the woman, "I seriously doubt that this will end in fighting, as it's not allowed here. And even if it does, don't think I've never had to stand up for myself before. And if this is to be my last drink of cider, at least I'll see my family and love again in the halls of the dead." She added the last part as a joke to frighten Morwyn, taking a big sip of her cider to make a point. She laughed, showing her that it was all in jest.
