"Mostly well, my friend," Talendur replied. "Aerandir and I have been awake for many hours discussing potential danger in the Northlands. There is definitely something going on that we do not know about."
Talendur eyes were glaring like a hawk's as finished voicing his concerns. Then, their usual warmth returned, and a happier sounding Talendur made a remark about their journey. "We have about a day until we should travel to Bree, so why don't we enjoy ourselves while we can."
A bar-maid came by and asked if they wanted anything. "Well, a hearty breakfast would be nice!" said Talendur. "I am weary of endless days in the Wild munching on whatever I can find. I suppose I will have some eggs--that is if you have any. What about you Aerandir, are you in the mood for some early-morning feasting?"
Though Talendur was acting rather jovial, his friends knew that he was trying to hide his worries from the others as well as himself. Talendur did not like the news he had been hearing, and he hoped to swallow those misgivings with the help of tasty food.
