Burzdol sat silently in a shady table at the back of the inn, ever watching the man.
A short Gondorian was slowly set between his eyes. Burzdol looked up to see the friendly face of Elorwen, the sword stuck in her right hand.
"Hello," she said as she lowered the sword, "How 'you been?"
"Swarn, dunna dor," he said in elvish tounge.
"Oh. Can I sit down?"
"Yeah, sure."
The two chatted for awhile about different things. Through it all, Burzdol hardly took his eyes of the man.
"Burzdol I have something for you, I heard you were going to leave for Erebor tommorow," she handed him a small pendent. A gold embroidered green leaf. A chain connected it at each side.
"Thank you, though I have something for you,"
a small diamond set ring slipped from his hand to hers. She started crying and ran upstairs. Well, I better get to bed, big day tommorow.
