Kaldon had found nothing. There were no dwarves inside the inn, as far as he could tell. Early sleepers, early risers, these dwarves are.
It was getting late and he needed sleep, but in the case that Bali came down from his room early in the morning and left, Kaldon wanted to be waiting for him. He selted his back against a chair and put his feet up on the table, and relaxed.
Pulling his pipe out of his cloak, hae lit what weed remained in it. He'll be down soon, and when he does, I'll be waiting for him...

A dwarf would...
Swiftly dousing his pipe and returning it to its place, Kaldon stood and slowly walked in a wide circle around the inn. And when he turned around, he saw the dwarf at his seat. What was unsettling was that the dwarf was watching him as well.

Finding his way over to where the elf sat, Kaldon addressed him. "I saw what happened to you. A grevious injustice it was. Perhaps I could help you get revenge."
The elf looked up from his drink, and his eyes roved over Kaldon, looking for treachery. "What do you mean?"
Kaldon lifted a blue vile and dumped a small blue pill into his hand. "I happen to have a tablet identical to the one that harmed you; but perhaps a little more violent. Here it is." He handed it to the elf.
"All you have to do is to see to it that it gets into his drink." The elf grinned wickedly. "Thank ye, stranger. Might I be able to have a few more? There are others..."
Kaldon shook his head. "I am allowing you one to deal with an enemy. Your other rivals mean little to me." The elf turned back to object, but Kaldon was gone.
Sitting back down, the elf devised his plan. Here's one dwarf that won't bother any elf again...
Kaldon merely sat back in his chair, outwardly impassive but smileing inwardly. "Slightly more violent." Where do I come up with it? For those tablets were in fact a deadly poisen...
