Everything was happening so very fast! The young elf had come around enough to murmer a few words, asking for someone named Baeruin. The lady in white barely had enough time to wonder who in Middle-earth Baeruin could be when another lady rushed down a flight of stairs and over to where she lay.
Moving deftly, the lady quickly revived the elf and together they carried her over to a chair nearby.

. ‘My name is Piosenniel, or Pio, if you prefer. I’m the Innkeeper here, and tonight, the nursemaid.’ She laughed, shaking off the weariness of the long day. ‘How may I serve you?’

"Greetings and many thanks, Pio" she dropped into a small curtsy and managed a tired smile. "My name is Laurie and as you can see, I have traveled far to come to your fair inn. I am originally of Rohan, and though I have learned much from the race of the Eldar, I do not belong to their kind." At this, Laurie dropped wearily into a chair beside the one in which they had placed the elf. "All I ask is for a room to stay the night and perhaps a small cup of tea before I retire."
The fire become warmer and made her feel drowsy. Stifling a yawn, Laurie closed her eyes and opened them to see another elf standing before her. This place was full of strange creatures, she thought but she smiled because most of them had seemed to very friendly thus far. Laurie stood to greet the maiden.
"Greetings! I will be just fine after a drink and soft bed, but I do not know about this young lady here," she gestured to the seat beside her, her eyes filled with concern.
