That night, about half an hour before the sun had risen, Tallin went outside. The darkness was so peaceful, cleansing. You didnt have to hide who you were in the darkness...

"Good morning Raye." She said as she felt the womans prescence. Raye muttered a curse under her breath before coming to stand beside Tallin. They stood in silence for a moment before Raye broke it.

"Its a bad idea to take the girl, Wolfsoul." Rayes voice was worried and Tallin didnt have to turn to know Rayes face was the same. The feelin of peace she felt eas evaporating.

"I know." She sighed, leaning against a tree, her ankles crossed casually. Flicking a knife out from her clothing she started to fiddle with it then looked at Raye. With slight bemusement she saw the woman had subtly stepped a few steps back. Tallin raised an eyebrow and was greeted with a glare. She stared at Raye for a few moments before breathing out sharply.

"Gods, Raye..." She murmered.

"What?" The other woman said sharply. Tallin met her angry gaze and realised that Raye didnt trust anyone, never had...or if she had the trust had been broken. Tallin had never really been alone, she had always had the mind link with her wolves at least, but Raye...the flood of understanding fitted into place. She couldnt say what she had been about to.

"Nothing I...no, nothing." She muttered vaguely. A few more moments passed in silence. "Ill go and get the others."

She looked into the distance the way they were going. "And then we shall be off." She murmered before walking back to get the others.
