Eruwen has just left Hobbiton.
Tolkien

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO UPSET AIRERÛTHIEL?" screamed Elentari.

Eruwen looked up when she heard Elentari yell. Much to her surprise, she rushed over to find Khôrbar pinned up against a tree. Hreeza was floating around in the air trying to calm Elentari down.

"Elentari!" Eruwen screamed as she approached the tree. She calmed down to a low voice. "I'm sure Khôrbar could answer you much better if he could breathe."

Elentari let go of the grip around his neck and backed up breathing heavily in anger. She spoke to Khôrbar once again, but this time in a more quieter form of anger.

"What did you say to her?" she said.

Khôrbar looked up at her still panting from lack of breath. "I said nothing, nor did anything." he said with harsh eyes looking into Elentari's. The whole group was now standing listening to the commotion that was going on. Airerûthiel stood in the back silently. Khôrbar continued...

"If she is upset about something, I am sorry for it," he said. "though I did not knowingly hurt her in any way. If you want to know so badly what caused her to get upset, then ask her. I would dare not say without her consent."

Elentari turned and looked at Airerûthiel who was staring at the ground, then back at Khôrbar. "I did talk to her...or at least I tried."

Elentari rushed off to continue the journey. Soronûmë helped Khôrbar up, and the others followed them out towards Elentari. Eruwen was somewhat shocked at the response from members in this quest toward Khôrbar on the next few days journey. She had not seen anything to be untrusting about him, nor did she know him very well either.

Eventually, after a long time in the journey without any important events happening, the company rose above a hill on the plain. As Eruwen stepped over to where she could see what lay beyond, she stared into land of Mordor.
