Khôrbar looked at Zohariel. She was not too familiar to him in person. He had heard tales of her, of course, but he knew he had not seen her...at least not in this form.

"If you saw me," he said, shrugging, "'Twas not in the body that you display before me. Unless you can shapeshift, I have not traveled with thee. I would know if I traveled with one of your strength and of the respect you command. I do not travel with people that much to begin with. Because of this, I would remember if I had met you."

Khôrbar sighed. He wanted to get back to the land. This speaking and socializing with others was not what he was good at. Now, speaking with nature was a forte of his.

"I do not know," Zohariel said, at a loss now, as she was getting no aid from the slightly more jovial Ranger.

Khôrbar smiled at her, grinning for the first time, and turned. "If you have a memory, stop me," he said, merrily, "For I would much desire to know if I knew some of you from before! It might help me in remembering names!"

Khôrbar laughed, noting startled glances from the group, and returned to the head of the group, inhaling the smell of the earth again, and once again feeling at home.
