"No. She died in battle, it was how she wanted to go. Leave her be Soronūmė, let her rest in peace."
"What?" The wind sprite was incredulous. They werent really going to leave her...
It seemed she was not the only one to hold this opinion. Soronūmė refused to leave her. Switching for a moment to her othersight, Hreeza could see peals of distress coming off him. Eventually he left, mounting his horse and riding away. Hreeza smiled...true heart and nature that one....she followed.
"Hreeza?" His head jerked.
"Yes my child." A true heart and nature and very sensitive ears to touch too...She knew he would argue more if she told him she wasnt with him. Elves could be like that..."you are foolish coming out here alone, paying no heed to your company's warnings."
"Not any more."
Hreeza chuckled quietly. "Indeed, indeed..."Airerūthiel is not far from where she fell, she is badly wounded. Shall I show you?" She asked, already searching out exactly where the maiden was.
Afterward, watching the pair return Hreeza smiled after them. He was so tender, so kind...She looked wistfully around the forest, using the last few hours of that night. This was her home, her family, her life....and she was about to leave it all.
Returning to the camp she blew quickly around the camp, raising the sleepers with many groans.
"Come, O Men and Elves. For we need to find our way to Cirith Ungol!"
The next morning and for the next few days thr group travelled, making good speed away from the forest. The sprite travelled above them, musing on her own thoughts, at the back of all of the groups minds, and not even there for the Ranger.
