His hand was still on his belt. If he tries anything...Men lived such short lives though. Brief and fleeting as a dragonfly it sometimes seemed to the immortal sprite. Yet they still had such an uncanny way of apparently wanting to make those lives shorter; never had she met another such intelligent species that had such an aptitude to picking fights!
