Taralphiel stretched out her aches as the sun rose. Looking around hazily, she saw the twisted shapes of Greenwood. She found little cheer, and even less sunlight in this place. Sitting by the fire, she looked across at Anarya, who seemed in her own world. The she-elf soon looked up, and smiled at her.
'You must miss your home' she said. Taralphiel shifted 'I suppose I do. It was very beautiful. But I am now convinced that my heart wasnt there' she smiled sadly.
'What of your home Anarya? Do you miss it?' She looked at the Elf, and it seems she caught her off guard. After a while she whispered 'Yes, I think I do' She played with a silver feathered arrow, and her face gave away a distant look. Taralphiel stood up then, and left her with her musing.
Walking to a nearby tree, she spotted Rudchamion. He was standing at the base of a tree, watching the dark of the forest. She moved slowly towards him, and he turned to look at her. She still found it startling he could hear her from so far away.
'I wanted to ask of what you know, good Elf. I understand little of this power, if that is what it is. Temptation has been getting greater to use them. I do not want to endanger you...'
Rudchamion looked at her with what she could not discern between pity or indifference, or even annoyance. Khelek appeared beside him, his strong eyes shwoing nothing.
