Rûdhchamion was shocked at the young elven girl’s words, and at the fury within her. Her words were coming out like a she-wolf’s growl. He stood up slowly and threw Tinuviel an alarmed look. Things would not bode well if the young elf girl, Sauche, could not control her emotions.
He looked around taking note of the furor she was causing. He glanced at Thranduil. The Elvenking’s face was without emotion, but his eyes were watching the girl keenly. Legolas’ emotions were clearly written on his face, though.
He saw the tall male elf look of outrage. His companions mirrored it on their faces as well. Rûdhchamion thought he caught a glimpse of Anarya as well.
He moved closer to Sauche and placed a hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her. He felt her shaking from anger. She shrugged his hand off, irritated and threw him a venomous glare.
“Sauche,” he said softly, and could find no other words. He sympathized with her, but what could she possibly want to happen? Her execution would not bring her parents back. Her grief and rage was blinding her from thinking rationally.
He sighed and looked at the young elven girl. Pleading silently to keep calm before she got herself into more trouble.
