The Eye

Georeliela glared at Pirk, he just glared back and gave a little snigger. “Well at least you’ll be alive, take them to the cave” he declared. Two Orcs pulled Georeliela and Emilia and put chains on them like dogs. They walked for a long time crossing the streets and roads, with burnt houses and the smell of rotten flesh everywhere. Finally they reached the other side of the city. They stopped for a rest and she looked at the city knowing that this might be the last time she see’s it. She held Emilia tight and kissed her on her soft forehead.

“Come on lets get going” an orc said. They walked for about half an hour more and in the distance Georeliela saw a large boulder covering the entrance to a cave covered in moss and Ivy. The two huge orcs moved the large boulder with all there strength. “And this is where we’ll be keeping ya all” the filthy orc said.

Georeliela kicked and screamed and they pushed her into the cave doorway. She looked up for a second and saw that this was not a small cave that she thought it would be but a huge cave. The entrance was like a huge room. The two orcs pushed the boulder closed and Emiliela squeezed her moms hand and gave a little shriek because the cave was dark with no light in it at all. The one Orc set a large, wooden torch alight and the room was suddenly lightened up. The two Orcs looked at them “This way” the one orc said. She would have run away but there was no point. A small and weak person could never push that huge boulder open. So she followed them holding Emilia by the hand.

She looked at the great room viewing the sides. She couldn’t breath because the air was so moist. She noticed that there were at least about six doorways leading out probably long passages. The orcs walked down one of the passages and she followed. Ten minutes later they were still walking down the never ending passage. Then there came a cross path but they carried on walking straight ahead. They finally came to two huge doors with a huge boulder in front of each of them. The orcs moved the one away leading them into a room.

The room was cold and empty. There were torches standing against the wall. The one orc took one and lit it. “You’ll have to make sure that, that one don’t go out, we wont be back in a while, and oh this is ya resting room. I’m sure well have some more of ya in the morning” he said throwing her two large blankets and handing her the touch. The room was big and about thirty or more could stay in there. The orcs pushed the boulder closed and left them all alone. Emilia looked at her mom “mommy I’m scared” she said. “Everything will be fine” Georeliela said pushing a smile out of her. She set the one blanket on the floor and rolled Emilia in it. She then wrapped herself in the other blanket. She snuggled up to Emilia and they both fell asleep not knowing what awaits them in the day ahead.
