Child of the 7th Age is a guest of Tom Bombadil.
Sting

Durshag was sleepy from all the exciting events of the past two days. He curled up on a large pillow below deck to take a little nap.

Rose Cotton was passing over the deck when she heard terrifying cries coming out of the cabin next to her. It sounded like Durshag.

Rose raced to the cabin next door. Durshag was sitting up on the pillows crying and shaking.

Rose didn't know what had happened but she held him close to her heart.

Durshag shook his head and whispered, "The water, the wall of water. It came again and almost swept me away. Was it me or my ancestor? I do not know. Only at the last minute a little boat came to take my family away."

He began to weep. "All the rest, all my family's friends and cousins swept away...."

Rose countered, "You have just had a bad dream. It will pass."

"No," said Durshag, shaking his head. "No pass. Come many times. Many times."
