Sophia serenely sipped her champagne. The serenity was shortlived however, as she caught a glimpse of Menelien's frightened face out of the corner of her eye. The elf maid was staring straight at Cami, who was approaching rapidly with a killing look on her face.
Sophia sprayed the champagne across the table in her merriment as the irate hobbit approached and stood before them, dragon guardian in tow. "Did you three have anything to do with that stunning flight demonstration?" she asked wryly.
Sophia composed her face into the most angelic look she could manage and was relieved to see that her partners in crime had done the same. "No of course not," she answered, straightfaced, "but wasn't it funny?" a small snicker escaped out the corner of her mouth. Cami shot a glance at the anguished fowl still speeding around the room, feathers flying. Her eyes twinkled suspiciously. Muttering under her breath she shook her head at the three and turned away. Angara however lingered a moment and shot them a knowing look.
When they had gone Sophia sighed with relief and the three collapsed in laughter. Sophia gestured across the room for the Saucepan Man to join them if he dared. All this night needed was a little music.
