Just some things to consider:

This game requires a time commitment of a half year (?) from me, the game owner and from the major players.

Let’s start with 13 - 16 weeks as the time commitment. (which is usually the upper end of time allotted games in the Shire) If there is continued enthusiasm for the game from the players then the deadline can be pushed as far as needed for the game to come to a successful conclusion.

CHARACTERS NEEDED LIST:

Hobbits - two or three - male or female

You might want to specify where you think these Hobbits will come from – Bree-land, possibly. And probably not the Shire, since most of the Hobbits there would now be staying within its protective bounds.

Humans - one or two - male or female

What variety of humans do you want? Townsfolk from around Bree, Rangers, ruffians who might want to join the baddies.

Elves - one or two - male or female (not necessary but welcome)

Would these be Elves from Lorien or Rivendell passing through to the Grey Havens? Do you need them to know Uien

Dwarves - one - male (not necessary but welcome)

Why might a Dwarf have wandered to Bree, or in the northern lands around Deadmen’s Dike, the North Downs or Annuminas?
