Afghan hounds would definatly be a dog for the elves...or maybe a saluki? Those dogs are so graceful and beautiful, sinewy and flowing...definatly an elf dog.

I think a Great Dane would fit as a dog of the Maia, and maybe a rottweiler for the rangers? *lol* I'm thinking a Dachshund for hobbits!
