I got Sam. After thinking about that for a little while I realized that I really am a lot like Sam.

I've often said that Sam is a lot like a dog. A dog protects its master no matter what. If something tries to hurt its master a dog bites that thing. If a dog's master needs help a dog will try to help. Sam and I are both a lot like that.

Sam was very unkind to Gollum. Gollum probably deserved it, too. And me, well, I'm sure you've seen my posts.

When Frodo got bitten Sam didn't hesitate a moment in taking the quest upon himself. And me, well, I'm sure you've seen my posts. (You can't have a good quest without stabbing a few orcs, one might say.) But seriously, my only joy is in helping people.

Anyway, I got Sam, and I am like Sam.

And I don't even like Sam.
