I like Laurelin (the golden tree thing) for a girl, and Peregrin or Faramir for a boy. I tend to lean more towards the romantic, middle-ages, knight-of-the-round-table type names. If I had an Eowyn, she could be called Wyn or Wynnie, and Laurelin could be Laurie or Lyn. The names of Tolkien's world are all so beautiful. But, my sister still thinks I'm crazy for planning to name a kid after a tree. [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]
But what about dragon names...
"Ancalagon! Stop roasting the forest, get in here and eat your supper!"
"Phew, Smaug, your breath stinks!"
They could incinerate pesky teachers, relatives, or siblings... and you could keep them occupied by asking them riddles.
