Does NO ONE remember Túrin? That brave man (he should have been an Elf!) who defeated Glaurung the Worm! Bow down to Túrin! He's my fave Silmarillion character! Then Manwé.

What about the Barrow Wights? They don't seem to be remembered that much! Except on this site.

And Aldarion? Helloh! He was the king of Númenor! The Mariner!

What about Oropher? Until Unfinished Tales, I didn't even know he existed! Legolas' grandfather!
