I'm most obsessed with white aspen as a result of LotR. It's now, officially, my favorite tree, just because the bark is somewhat white. I've also been known to draw the Crest of Gondor on random sheets of paper (soon, it will be laminated and placed on the door to my bedroom). Long have I searched for a tapestry of the Crest. I also would like to own a white horn at some point. I would say LotR inspired my passion for blades, but I've been in love with "stabbies" since I cut myself with a steak knife when I was little. It has, however, fanned the flames of my love for swords and made me that much more determined to collect them when I have the funds to.

It was actually
The Hobbit that got me on that, and then it was because I found a little description of the runes in the front of the book, got bored in History and decided to teach myself. I haven't picked up any other types of Dwarvish runes, but I'm very much interested in them if you have a tutorial on any other "strains." I'm trying to get higher up on the ladder of knowing Dwarvish runes since my friend is already quite learned in Elvish.
On the side, I'm trying to wrap my poor head around a Quenya tutorial, but I can't seem to find the time to actually sit down and learn it thoroughly.
