I think Haldir secretly smokes with Celeborn. He seems like the sluttish, rule-breaking sort. And yeh, those long cigarette holders. So classy! Perfect for an elf.

(Ok... have images in my head of Haldir wearing an off-the-shoulder dress and one of those 20's feather hats... Think of Velma in Chicago, if you've seen it.)
