[He walks up to Elrond.]
Pippin: I just want you to know that I was rooting for you, mate. Know that.
[He starts walking toward the door. He stops and looks back.]
Pippin: Arwen!
[Arwen turns and looks at him.]
Pippin: It would never have worked between us, darling. I'm sorry.
[He pauses for a second.]
Pippin: Aragorn!
[Aragorn looks at him.]
