Hairpins hold hair. Glorfindel's name means "Golden Hair". Glorfindel saved Frodo from the Nasgul. (AT LEAST HE WAS SUPPOSED TO!!!) Aragorn was supposedly protecting Frodo. Aragorn has a sword! Yay!
