I dunno what's goin' on right there, but Boromir looks extremely handsome in that photo.

I can just see it during their retirement, they pull out the photo for prosperity:

"And this was Boromir. He died." *sniffle* "He was a good man! Really, he was!"

"Wow... I look young in that picture. Was I ever really that young, Merry?"

"No, Frodo."

"Who's that?!"

"Ai Valar, it's Gimli! Oy, Gimli, you sure changed!"

"I didn't have much of a beard then...."

"Is that a blemish on my skin?"
