I don't have really one favorite LotR character though...it's a tie between Boromir, Legolas, and Smeagol/Gollum.
Although I am a little unhealthily infatuated with Emeldir, mother of Beren. I want to be her. Emeldir is my favorite Tolkien character ever *ever, ever, ever*.
