Some twitchy psycho in the line at the Department of Motor Vehicles compared me to Galadriel and threatened to show me his drawings of her.

Due to the exemplary efficiency at the DMV (burn beaurocrats, burn), I ended up having to listen to his babbling for all of four hours as I waited to get my license replaced (the next person who steals my wallet will be set on fire a la Denethor).

Now that TTT has come out, however, a lot of my friends and fellow Downers have been comparing me to Eowyn: no wonder I am fair and cold.

There was also a splitting image of Aragorn who strode into the coffee shop where I used to work: lanky, blue-eyed (a la Viggo), unshaven, with impeccable manners and an impeccable accent. Needless to say, it took me about 10 minutes just to ring up his order; I was busy staring, and thus unable to hit the right keys on the register. They would fire people like me, but I know how to stroke the customers' egos just so.
