Good suggestions, everyone. Having come late to the Movie Madness (believe it or not, I only saw FOTR-on video-the afternoon before the 1st midnight showing of TTT!) and the internet sites, perhaps I'm not as aware of slowness. The Walk to Rivendell has been a much needed boost towards better physical fitness - a gift from the Creator, I might say! And I may even have talked someone from work into signing up, though she's not as, er, obsessed as I am. She thought it sounded like great fun! So, a good deed has been done. I am also, if I can lay my hands on some suitable wool, going to make a Cloak, and some sort of hobbitish costume, to wear to the Gathering in Toronto in December (if I get the time off, that is). Given my past speed at accomplishing sewing projects, THAT should be a long term project, LOL. And, finally, a fan fic is forming itself on the Powerbook, little by little, which may eventually transform into *real* writing. Anything to exercise the writing muscles, right? Slow season, what slow season ?
