The Durins were called "deathless", but the text makes it quite clear that this was due to a combination of a number of consecutive kings in Khazad Dum having the same name and ignorance outside. The Valar are referred to as "deathless" in the narrative. Also if the Valar could kill each other then I'm sure that Morgoth would have tried it at some point.
The Silmarillion is quite clear on the subject of Morgoth: he was cast beyond the circles of the world, not killed.
