palantir

Where are all the palantirs in the third age? I know where 4 of them are. One is in Orthanc, Sauron has one, Denethor has one, And I just read in the Return of the King appendices that Cirdan had one. Does anyone know where the other 3 are?

Orthanc - held by Saruman until Grima threw it from the tower, then taken to Minas Tirith with Gandalf and remained under the care of Aragorn
Ithil - taken by Sauron when the Nazgul took the tower and named it Minas Morgul, destroyed in the Fall of Barad-dur
Anor - remained at Minas Anor/Tirith all along; held by Denethor, then Aragorn
Amon Sul - moved to Annuminas when Amon Sul was destroyed by the armies of Angmar, later lost by Arvedui, the last king before Aragorn, at sea
Annuminas - lost with the Amon Sul stone by Arvedui at sea
Osgiliath - lost down the Anduin in an assault on Osgiliath long before the War of the Ring
Elostirion - remained there at the White Towers under the guard of the Elves of Lindon until Cirdan set sail on that final ship West
[ 1:08 AM January 24, 2004: Message edited by: Legolas ]
