"There's still hope..."

Reconise that line? It's from one of TTT trailors that I've seen a hundred times. It's one of Arwen's lines. For awhile now I havn't paid much attention to it but just now I've noticed that it might mean more then just that sentence. One of Aragorn's names means "hope" so that line might mean that there IS still hope but it might also mean: "There's still Aragorn..." Does that make sense?<p>[ November 18, 2002: Message edited by: Rose Cotton ]

yeah i recognise it, you could be right. i mean it could be either, though in my opinion i think she means <BR>'there is still Aragon...'<BR>as well he is the one that saves them all and everything!!

Frodo, Sam and Gollum are the ones that save them all, BTW. I think the line is supposed to mean both things, though. A nice little conundrum. And she says it, "There is sssTil hoPe."

There is also another line in one of the trailers to contradict that. It belongs to Eomer...<P>"Do not trust a hope, it is forsaken in these lands"

Many different good and unique people verses a singular evil being.

I noticed that aswell a few days ago. Before that line, Elrond says, "There is nothing for you here, only death." If that wasn't edited for the trailer then they could have been discussing Arwen's decision to give up her immortality.
