2 quick questions from TTT.
What is Legolas' horse's name and is it a girl or boy? What would it's opposite gender's name be?(like Nicholas= Nicole, Micheal= Michelle,Robert= Roberta,Justin= Justine)
|
Arod was the horses name. What the "opposite" would be is more a matter of personal opinion.
Oh, and this would have ben very easy to find by searching. There's even a topic about this on the front page of the Novices and Newcomers section.
[ February 04, 2003: Message edited by: Beren87 ]

Like if it's a male,what is it's feminine version(Micheal=Michelle)?If it's a female,what is it's maculine version(Nicole=Nicholas)?
|
Because Arod is not a customary name, there is really no fixed "opposite name". I personally think it is a boy, but there is no evidence. Also, you could just add an A, making it Aroda, but in Elvish, I don't think A is a female "name- ender". (eg: Arwen, Celebrian, Luthien.)

I suppose you could make it "Ariel", "Arien", or "Arwen". That would probably be pretty close to the "opposite" gender...unless you wanted "Arodiel", "Arodien", or "Arodwen". I think that "Ariel" sounds better though. And I think that the "-od" might connote a masculine ending. I don't rightly know...
