Question about Galadriel and the elves at Helm's Deep
 

If Galadriel could see the past, present, and future, did Haldir and the other elves that dies know they were to die??

No. I guess not. I don't think Galadriel can see whatever she wants to or make the mirror show her what will happen to certain elves at certain times. She owns the mirror, but doesn't control it. She may have foreseen the fate of Rohan and that the elves were needed at Helms Deep. In the book, the elves never come.
