Not very original LOTR vs X-Men
 

Ok I know stuff like this has been done before but anywhoo.

What would happen if a LOTR character went head to head with a X-Men mutant?

How about.....Aragorn (sword) vs Wolverine (claws)

Funny, but I can easily see Aragorn and Wolverine being buddies. However, if they did fight, I think it might be close, but I'd go with Aragorn.

Actually I think Wolverines Claws would slice right through his sword.

Well, first I'd have to ask this question.

Can adamantium cut mithril, or vice versa?

I would go with mithril because isn't it sought of magical? But Aragorns sword is not made from mithril and he doesn't wear mithril armor so I would guess that wolverine would win, plus wolverine has healing powers.

Wolverine would win... poor Aragorn! I think that Gandalf the White may be the only one who could stand a chance against him.

Apocolyps vs Soauron

MUAHAHAHA im voting for Apocolyps but i dont know how good he will do.

Legolas vs. Gambit would be interesting. Both good hand to hand, and both using predominatly long distance weapons. The same could be said against Cyclops.

Gandalf vs. Storm
Sauron vs. Magneto

Gandalf would kick storms butt!

Magneto is one of my favorite characters in the world, but I'd have to go with Sauron on this.

Then again, I think I'd probably go with Sauron in every match-up.

As far as hand to hand, it'd be tough for anyone to take on Wolverine. The only people I think would stand a chance in hand to hand with him would be Hurin, Turin, Feanor, and Fingolfin.

Tigerlily Gamgee, how about entering Psylocke into a fight?

Psylocke vs. Eowyn. They both have some pretty good fighting skills, just take away Psylocke telekinetic powers and Eowyn may stand a slight chance.
