tolkien books, help needed
 
hey everyone, i was wandering how many books tolkien has wrote, and what they're called so that i can find them, these are the ones that i know:

1.the hobbit
2.the fellowship of the ring
3.the two towers
4.the return of the king
5.the silmarilion
6.farmer giles of ham
7.Adventures of tom bombadil
8.Tree and leaf
9.smith of wootton major
10.the homecoming of Beorthnoth
11.Tales from the perilous realm
12.Leaf by Niggle

but that's all, does anybody know any more?

11. The War of the Jewels: The Later Silmarillion, Part Two
12. The Peoples of Middle Earth

I've only read the 1st two of those so far...

He also wrote a children's book called "Roverandom" for his son after he lost his toy dog. It's about a dog's adventures after he is turned into a toy by a wizard he annoys. It's a very cute book.

The are several parts to the Book of Unfinished Tales.

And there's another book called "The Lays of Beleriand" that's all poetry.

This is a good thread. There's a bunch of books I haven't heard of being listed. I wonder, though, perhaps this should be in Novices and Newcomers? It would be great if a bunch of people new to Tolkien could hear about all of these.

Welcome Pip He also wrote a translation of Sir Green and the Green Knight and a childrens book-- Mr. Bliss
