The Disco Danceoff at The Downies
 

as we all know, the downies are coming up very soon, and as most of us also know, there will be a Disco Danceoff in which boromir will defend his title against all comers (Yes, this includes gandalf) Fake afros will be the order of the hour, so everybody pack an extra hippie suit if you plan on discoing on the floor

who do you think will compete?

I thought i made up the "disco dance off." (darn I knew that copyright would come in handy if only I had gotten it) Well anyway I think Boromir will win again unless, a certain Hippopotamus steps out on the dance floor.

Oh no offense taken. Just wasnt sure if I read that somewhere else, and subconsciously remembered it, and took it as my own. I didn't want to offend anyone else if they came up with it first. So if I am not the first then whoever is come out and say it.

Gollum's more of a breakdancer, but he's flexible, so he should be able to do pretty much any move, including the groovy moves of the disco.

then we have someone who was around Before disco... Gandalf!

will this old-timer still be able to bust-a-move, or will he only be able to bust-a-hip?

I just think if we are going to have a disco dance off, we should do it the right way. Thats why if I have my coconspiriters permission I would like to oficaily extend a invatation to some of the greatest people here at the downs to judge are disco dance off.

Oddwen: for teaching us to do the wave.
Airehiel: for giving us the first organized disco competition.

Well as far as I'm concerned we are forever in your debt. If my friends here on the board of disco competitions approve then I am sure we can find some way to get you three involved.

Eressië Ailin, I heartily agree. The Balrog didn't make it at Stayin' Alive but he sure did rule at Getting Down. And of course, there's nobody hotter.

I think Gollum belongs in Cirque du Soleil. Freakish climbing thing. They'd think he already had his costume (come on, the costumes can be pretty skimpy) and send him on for his debut performance.
