Gollum loves his cold fish, his precious too!

Guess what Gollum is thinking about today? RINGS! You know, rings!

The Gollum/Elmo idea was mine. They're alike because they have big, round heads and speak in the third person.

I didn't know anyone else had seem the similarities of Gollum/Elmo, but it's rather hilarious when you think about it. Specially if you replace the name Gollum with Elmo! [img]smilies/evil.gif[/img]

Elmo is a Middle-Earthern character. Seriosuly.

He is the grandafther of Celeborn and brother of Elwe and Olwe.

I've heard that before, kinda funny I guess.

Me and my friend were really bored this one time, so we took her little brother's Tickle-me-Elmo doll, ripped off the fur, and tried to make a Tickle-me-Gollum doll. It didn't work. [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]

Elmo the ringbearer! He probably wouldn't have any problems with ring wraiths or orcs he'd scare them away with his perkyness and spontaniasly bursting into song! example:

Ah, I can see it all now. This Christmas, the most popular toy will be the Tickle-Me-Gollum doll! The parents will rush to the stores and tackle each other for the dolls. They'll regret snatching up Tickle-Me-Gollums when Gollum bites back after you tickle him.

Actually, at my shool there are REALLY fancy Over-head projectors called Elmos. No kidding. It's kind of weird, but it would be weirder to have an OHP called a "Gollum".

Well, we have non-fancy OHPs at church that are ELMOs. Gollum ones sound really funny...
