What if Sauron got the ring?
 

Shagrat goes to see Sauron, he's grinnig like a good one cause he knows he's in for a promation.

Shagrat: "Master I have found the One ring for you"

He holds out his filthy hand, in his palm is the ring Sauron has been after and after all these years it's finaly found it's way back to him. There is a long pause.

Shagrat: "Master are you not going to take your ring and then bring darkness to all of middle earth."

Sauron looks around big floating lidless eye that he is. He looks at his ring, then looks around again and notices his complete lack of arms and most of all fingers, he looks back at the ring.

Sauron: "Oh Bugger!"

I've always wondered how exactly Sauron would put the Ring on, seeing as he has no hands or anything......It's nice to see I'm not the only one worrying about that! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img] [img]smilies/rolleyes.gif[/img]

since the Ring could get bigger or smaller, maybe he would make it bigger and put it around him like a big basketball trapped in the basket......
or maybe he would get smaller......

The eyes would envelope the ring, so the ring
would no longer be visible. Then no one could ever take his power again. Lastly, he'd write a book about it.

either when he puts the Ring around him he pokes his eye and can never see again [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] or he's magical and can grow a hand to put the Ring on. a magical eyeball... [img]smilies/eek.gif[/img]

maybe when he got the ring, he would turn into that big, scary, pointy-helmet thingy he was in the beginning of FotR. Maybe...
Or maybe he'd just be all "Bugger you, why couldn't it have been the One Monacle!!"

Nice one Horse Maiden, I could see Sauron forcing anyone nearby to reforge his ring into "The one Monacle of Power" or how about "The One Eye Contact Lense"!

Once he got the ring, I think he'd get down on one eyelash in front of a mirror and propose to himself.

Ah, but what if he said no.

But you wouldn't know if he'd been crying, because his eye is always red.

He will have his eyeball pierced and wear it dangling from a safety pin.

If Sauron got the Ring.....

First of all I think that the Ring, being in his possession once more, would enable him to return to his former glory. He would not have difficulty putting the Ring on his Eye I don't think. LOL, that would be so funny if Sauron was like...uh-oh.. can't get the Ring on..oops. Or maybe the Wraiths would like, throw it into his eye or something.
Anyways, once Sauron had the Ring, he'd take over the world in short order, kill everyone or turn them into slaves, the get vanquished by the Valar when he tries to take over their Kingdom. That's what happens when your ego gets too big.....

Sauron gets the Ring. "Finally!" he shouts. Once he has it in his grasp, he swiftly ties a piece of string to it and pops it into the near by vending machine and repeatedly pulls the Ring out while purchasing vast numbers of sandwiches. "At last I can use this thing!" he shrieks in triumph.
