I think it's so sweet how loyal he is to Frodo. *Awww!* But I also think that all the hobbits are special in their own way (yes, I know, that was WAY too cheesey, sorry).

i like Sam. He is SOOOOOO Cute!

Sam and Frodo are both my favorite hobbits, I couldn't choose one over the other. BTW, is Gollum a hobbit? I know Gandalf said he was of a hobbit kind, but is he an actual pure-bred hobbit?

Well, let me think. Ok. I don't really have to think. Definitly PIPPIN!!!!! {as my pic shows} [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] But Then again, I also like Merry, and Sam, and Frodo too. They would have to be my next favs.

Frodo and Sam are my favorite two as I cannot choose between either of them!

Though I will admit there are times Sam seems to be nearer and dearer to my heart, especially when I think of Mount Doom or Shelob's Lair! *shudders*

Well as far as "bad" hobbits go, I'd have to say Gollum is my favorite.
Otherwise I'd say Pippin or Merry. Yet can't forget Frodo since he reminds me of myself in ways.
Hmm... to tough of a question can't pick just one.

In order are my four favorite hobbits:

1. Sam-he is funny, loyal, brave, and a good friend
2. Pippin-he is funny, klutzy, and sometimes can be stupid (but that doesn't mean he is stupid)
3. Merry-he is cheerful and fun to be around
4. Frodo-he is smart, serious, and caring

It has to be Sam.

Pippin!!! Pippin is the best, the cutest, and the most like me^^ (I can make trouble everywhere :rolleyes [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] and in the movie Pippin has great accent - I just love to listening to him [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

And Billy Boyd is my favorite actor!!! I love him, he played Pippin so well!! Pippin is so funny, you just gotta love that little hobbit! For me, it's a three-way tie between Frodo, Pippin, and Bilbo. I really like Sam and Merry too, but not quite as much as those three. Actually, I like all the hobbits except for Ted Sandyman. Even Lobelia isn't that bad.

I had happened to take a liking to Samwise. He is a very down-to-earth person who was obvious out of his environment and was to devoted to Frodo that he would die for him. I find such traits so few any more, for they are valuable, but not really valued in American pop culture.
It is usually sex, money and complete independance and not wanting to take responciablity.

There's also Gaffer Gamgee, with all of his sayings.

Of course I like Frodo. He's the ringbearer and probably my favorite. and we can't forget his trusty sidekick Samwise. then there's Merry the noble one who aided in the killing of the ringwraith. And Pippin of course, is most likely the most humorous lotr character. then there's dear old bilbo! finder of the ring. barrel rider-dada-dada-dada.

Each of the five main hobbits is so very special!
