How could Galadriel be wiser than Celeborn, is it because she possess a Ring of Power and he doesn't? Another one, is Elrond a member of the White Council?

Galadriel was a Light-Elf, she had been in Valinor and had spoken with the valar, so she was therefore wiser than Celeborn, who was sindarin, a Grey-elf of Beleriand.

And yes, Elrond was a member of the White Councel, and the other members were Galadriel, Círdan, Saruman, Gandalf and Radagast, I think.

It ain't for sure that Celeborn is one of the Moriquendi. The UT states a few other things, yet I don't believe them. I also think that he is Moriquendi.

The Ring is also one of the points, I think, to be considered in this matter. It gave many powers to the wielder and maybe some wisdom as well.

She may also be older than him. Does it say anywhere when Celeborn was born? (No pun intended).

so ppl would say ,"O Wise novbarwen, i salute you---naaahh!" I just wanna keep it and show it off to everybody and everyone would say, "i'm gonna get a ring like that one too!" [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
