Help!!!
 

I'm new here, and have a tech question, but didn't know where to ask, so....
When I'm updating my profile, how to I put a link to a picture? I tried, but it didn't work, so I guess I did something wrong. I would [bold] greatly [/bold] appreciate y'all's help!!

I'd probably better clarify myself a little. I put the link to a website. How do I find out if the picture is one of the supported files?

is the picture a JPG?
to get your picture onto the profile click on the picture that you want and right click with your mouse, next select properties. Under the address copy the complete description eg http://barrowdown.com/banners/tesshirtbanner.jpg
Next in your profile under "your picture" copy the link of the pictures address into the field.
your picture should now work

The picture must be online and not in your C: drive, (if you would like a picture hosted on the web email it to me at JWAHL@BIGPOND.COM)

I just reread your post

at the end of the pictures propertie is a code ie joe.jpg or joe.bmp. or joe.GIF this is the pictures type I believe that only gif .jpg .png .swf can be used.

For some reason the picture did not show up before. I think the link was too long, because whenever I copied and pasted it, the whole thing would not show up. I found a different picture, and hopefully it will work! Arwen
