Are Elves like Scientists
 

You know how some scientists invent some stuff like say an atomic bomb and when they make them they don't sometimes think about the consequences of such an invention well,would you say the elves are like that??
I mean they invented the rings but they didn't think about the consequences of their power.And they made the Silmarili and were very proud but look where that led them??

yeh, the elves were kinda like those ditzy inventors who had smke erupting from their laboratories every hour, and looked like einstein...
