What is Tom Bombadil

i must sound like a complete novice at Lotr askin this, but what is Tom? like, what would u put as a title for him, as in "Tom Bombadil The ___"? plz help me, im confused

Nobody quite knows who the heck he is, but if I had to go with a title, I'd say: Tom Bombadil Is. This is what Goldberry and Tom himself say. There is a very intersting thread on who me might be, Ea, but I'm not quite sure where it is. I'll try and find it for ya.

No problem! And if you scroll down in this very forum, Books, and click on "Derry Doll, indeed" you will find a lot of indepth Tom talk, including a link to another page, and a very stupid question by yours truly. So there you go! Sorry I can't give you a direct link, I'm rather computer illterate.
