OK Haldir! That picture suggests you've been having fun with the Victoria's Secret Catalog!

I don't have Tree and Leaf as a separate publication, although it was issued as such by Allen and Unwin in 1964. My Tolkien reader has a section "Tree and Leaf" which has two main parts--the first is Tolkien's essay "On Fairy Stories" and the second is his short vignette "Leaf by Niggle"

Leaf by Niggle doesn't have any subheadings. "On Fairy Stories" is divided by headings like this; each section starts with a heading and the first three have a beginning question in the text. First, Fairy-Story (what is a fairy story?; Origins (what is the origin of fairy stories?); Children (what are the valus and functions of fairy stories now?); Fantasy; next Recovery, Escape, and Consolation; and finally Epilogue. Then, there is a section of Note. Hope this helps.

Where did you get a copy of this in Hebrew? I would like to get the Hobbit in Hebrew, but haven't found a copy. I was in Israel last summer and should have tried to get it then but unfortunately didn't. Not that my Hebrew is fluent enough to just sit down and read (my son, however, probably could), but I'd still like to own a copy. sharon, the 7th age hobbit

Well, Sharon, I got the Hobbit in hebrew in
two different translations, it wasn't hard
to find, every israeli book store got:

LOTR
Hobbit
Unfinished Tales

it was kind of hard to find the Silmarilon,
but it was nothing comparing to the hell I've
been through to find Tree and Leaf !
