Or, if you want a more substantial link, Rosie's husband Sam served Bilbo who met Smaug who was the ultimate descendant of Glaurung who was killed by Urwen's brother Turin.

Rosie links directly to Lalaith by virtue of being the same exact height.

Lalaith was slain by Maedhros, who was jokingly called "Rosie" by his brothers due to his flaming red hair.

Turin gave Lalaith a bouket of roses for her birthday
