Reputation?
 

One thing I've never understood about the Downs is how reputation works precisely. I've figured out enough to give some reps here and there, but the intricacies escape me. Could someone explain it to me in depth? Thanks. Sorry for the retarded question. :p

Some of the information is dated, as the system was rebooted and changed not so long ago, but you should find at least general helps in understanding how it works. Though the levels change much more slowly now and have different names, it is still in effect and provides a good way to give others feedback on their posts.
