Searching for a Thread...
 

Have you ever recalled a thread and tried to find it with the search function? Unfortunately, it doesn't always know what it is that we want, and we don't always know which precise information it needs to perform. I'd like to start a thread here for quests of that nature - usually, someone will remember where it is and help out with the link.

For a starter, I'd like to ask if anyone knows the whereabouts of a thread that I thought was titled "Where in Middle-earth do you live?" It's about comparing our real world to locations in LotR etc. I plowed through the five pages which the search function gave me, but couldn't find it.

I've given up on the search function & use the Ixquick toolbar, which has an option of 'Search this Site' which works with any website. Its also much quicker than the sites own search engine.

That is it indeed, davem - thanks! Interestingly, it popped up on today's active topics list, having been revived. I'll post there as soon as I have time to write up my experience.
