Sauron and the One Ring

I''ve always wondered about this. Why couldn't Sauron forge another ring and fill it with his power?

because he already put alot of his power into the first one...thus a second could not be made (well, he might have been able to make a second one, but with lesser power)

Every wonder where the phrase "practice makes perfect" comes from? Whenever I do an art project, I always find that my sketches look FAR better than the finished product. I guess Sauron would've had the same problem.
