Tolkien Google logo petition
 

Tolkien Gateway is hosting a petition to persuade Google to showcase a J.R.R. Tolkien-themed logo on January 3rd, 2007 in honor of the Professor's birthday. Google has had numerous other artist and author themed logos and it only makes sense that Tolkien should be included in this list. We need your support BDers, help us to think of ideas for the logo as well as create more concept images! Go to the petition page.

the guy who be short, psh, no one actually accepts petitions that's why they are petitions! :p

Maybe we can incorporate the downs somehow, make all the letters look like barrows or something.
